Generous Paid Time-Off
You will accrue three to four weeks of vacation and receive a substantial bank of sick days from the time you begin employment. Employees also receive thirteen paid holidays and two personal days per year.

Tufts offers a flexible package of benefits to protect your health and financial security and that of your family, including a choice of medical and dental plans, free short-term disability coverage and reasonably priced life and long-term disability insurance.
Retirement Investment Programs
Tufts automatically makes a contribution to the Basic Retirement Plan on your behalf each year. In addition, you may elect to make personal contributions out of your Tufts compensation to the Voluntary Retirement Plan on a pretax basis. Both plans provide access to top mutual funds from Fidelity Investments and TIAA-CREF.
Tuition Programs
The Tufts University Tuition Remission Program provides an exciting opportunity for eligible employees to enhance a job-related skill or pursue a particular academic interest. Depending on eligibility, employees, spouses, same sex domestic partners, and dependent children interested in taking classes at Tufts University may do so free of charge (for more information , please see our Tuition Remission policy). Tufts also offers eligible employees Tuition Reimbursement for job-related courses taken at other institutions.
Training and Development
Tufts employees are eligible for the University's extensive in-house and online training programs, which provide comprehensive instruction on everything from basic computer programs to project management skills to management and professional development programs.
Access to Tufts' Resources
Tufts offers access to a wide range of facilities, including athletic facilities and recreational programs, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, music, dance and theater performances, an art gallery on the Medford campus, as well as libraries, lectures, exhibitions and more on the Boston, Grafton, and Medford campuses. Many employees take fitness classes or sign up for individualized training with the Tufts Personalized Performance Program. A variety of educational and entertainment activities takes place throughout the year at Tufts. Employees are welcome to attend plays, lectures, concerts, and other Tufts community events. Some of these events are free; in many instances, you can receive a price discount upon presentation of your Tufts I.D.
